Our pioneering education projects help people to understand the cultural, social and environmental importance of food. The activities differ from many others as they are based on the idea that food means pleasure, culture and conviviality, demonstrating how to combine enjoyment and responsibility in daily choices. Organized for diverse audiences – children, adults, teachers and the general public – education forms an integral part of Slow Food events and campaigns, with initiatives in more than 150 countries.
