Directory

Alberta has a wealth of small-scale growers, producers and ranchers who devote their lives to raising high quality – often organic – food for our tables. The past 20 years have shown an explosion of these artisanal farmers and ranchers, to whom good food is their lives. Part of Slow Food Calgary’s mandate is to support these efforts and to bring local producers and Calgarians together to share the bounty of our fields and streams, and make Calgarians aware of the good food produced in their own back yards. Listed below are local producers who help contribute to the success of Slow Food Calgary and grace our tables with fresh, seasonal produce.
