“Come Visit the Farms” Bus Tour – August 14th!

This is an invitation to slow food members to “Come Visit the Farms” on August 14th.
Four organic farms are featured: Heritage Harvest which grows Red Fife wheat, Poplar Bluff Farm, Cam’s Carrots, and Winters Turkey. We finish with a BBQ in Cam’s beautiful quaint farm back yard.
Cost: $30 per person, to cover the bus rental fee.
This is a tasting event; varieties of vegetables that are not carried in stores can be explored. A team of horses will dig the first potatoes of the year. The event is family friendly, so bring the kids!
Bus pickup point is Chinook LRT at 10 am.
I know I haven’t given you a lot of notice but I would love to have my slow food friends visit us!
