ATTENTION SNAILS: Don’t be Slow to Commit to Feast of Fields

Feast of Fields is two weeks out and many thanks to the band of passionate folks who have everything on track for our eleventh year!! This is just a friendly reminder to all Slow Food members, steering committee included, that this is a TICKETED event… the fire department has rules as to how many folks can be on site, the insurance company has rules to how many people can be on site, and both producers and restaurants have specific expectations regarding how many folks can be accommodated on Sunday afternoon. To that end, be aware that if you have not purchased a ticket or have not been assigned a role for the day – you will not be included on the guest list, and as such will be denied entry. Security personnel will be on hand to facilitate compliance so we would request that you do not arrive expecting admittance based on your perception of your participation and affiliation. This year’s event features 20 committed chefs and 40 local producers; show your support by purchasing a ticket to this dynamic community showcase – we look forward to seeing you there!!  Thank-you for your cooperation and understanding.
