7th Annual Feast of Fields

Sunday September 14th, 2008
1 to 4 pm
The garden @ Rouge Restaurant in Inglewood
1240 – 8 Ave SE

This is a lucky day for locavores! Come and meet your local growers and taste their products. We pair 50 local food growers, winemakers and brewmasters with your favourite chefs to celebrate the Alberta Harvest.

Great food – Calgary’s finest chefs use their talents to showcase all things local, with delicious results. Rouge, The River Café, Capo, Nectar Desserts, Brava Bistro, The Cookbook Company Cooks, OpenRange and Route 40 are a few of the restaurants that will be on site to serve locally sourced creations.

Great drink – Zora’s lemonade and Kayben black currant punch for the kids, fabulous beers and Canadian wines for the adults and coffee and Nanton water too.

Great music – Simply Sinatra will set the mood for a lively afternoon in the garden.

Educational diversion – Our guests, The Calgary Horticultural Society will host an interactive booth on the topic of community gardening.

Join in the conviviality!
